Task: As you explore the website, discover which shoes are categorized in your favorite music genres. Then, choose a specific shoe which you feel embodies the essence of your favorite music genre.
I gained inspiration for the shoe drawings mainly from my own daily life. I would observe what shoes people were wearing in places where diverse people gather, for instance, inside commuting trains.
The categorization process is mainly based off of personal feel. I payed attention to things such as the aesthetic of the shoe, the historical background of the shoe, or the cultural representation of the shoe, then decided which category each shoe belonged to.
